Its heart notes are traditionally built around aromas of cedar, clove and patchouli. 

Its base notes, which contribute to its character and endure over time, are a combination of fairly woody and fleshy ingredients.  Styrax balsam, labdanum, vanilla, and tonka bean are significant characteristics of the perfume, giving it a certain uniqueness.
